Sunday, December 14, 1930
Slept right through to eight o'clock. Got up, got ready, and drove in to town. Got some breakfast and then went to Calvary to church school. Taught the mens class for the first time. Had about a dozen there. Drove out to Violette's to dinner and spent a little time there with she and Clayton and Violette. Came home and worked on our Christmas cards. Hung the holiday wreathes on the doors. Received a telegram from Tessie saying that she arrived safely in Chicago and that Eleanor Effler's wedding was lovely. A slight fall of snow today and very cold
