Monday, December 15, 1930 Very cold this morning, thermometer down to three above zero. That's cold for us. Tessie should be having a wonderful time with Sally and Peter in Chicago. Busy all day at the store. Worked till 7 P.M. then went over to one of the Yale Buildings on Hillhouse ave. to attend a meeting of the Boys Scouts.
