Friday, December 19, 1930 Rained last night. Cleared off warm. Worked at the store till 9-30 then came home and address Christmas cards till very late. Had a telegram from Tessie telling me that Bert and Jessie Hodges were leaving Chicago this morning for San Francisco and they would sail on the "President Johnson" December 26th.
