Saturday, December 20, 1930 The streets were a glare of ice this morning but the sun soon took it away. I drove straight down to the Railroad station this morning and made my reservations to go to Chicago on Tuesday next, leaving from Springfield on the "Wolverine". Store meeting this forenoon. Worked till about seven o'clock then went downtown and did some shopping also had my supper. Came home and finished addressing my Christmas cards for the family list - also the church, Grays, and Rotary lists. Took my bath and to bed at one A.M. Had a letter from Tessie at Chicago. She is having a fine visit with Sally and Peter [Prev](1930_12_19.md) - [Next](1930_12_21.md) <img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/d/1xnWYt-L9-HbyFXg74N0jID8Ih0DOWa9H">
