Sunday, December 21, 1930
Got up at eight o'clock, fed the cat, and drove in town. Got my breakfast and went to Calvary Church School then to church. Mr. Reid of Chicago preached. I drove out to Violette's, got her, and we both drove down to Harley's for dinner. Afterwards, he showed us the new house just finished on his land. His pond is frozen and the young people were skating. I took Violette home then came on home and finished wrapping the Christmas packages. Had crackers and milk for my supper here
