Monday, December 29, 1930 Cold and cloudy in Chicago, spitting snow but did not make much. Went in town with Peter. Had lunch on State Street then walked over to 211 West Wacker Drive to Headquarters of Rotary International. Met Ches Perry and visited with them. Came back out to Sarah's and dressed. Peter came out later then we all went back in town, had dinner at Maillard's, then went to see "Three Little Girls", an operetta and it was tuneful and lovely. Got our transportation for our return, which I hate to think about.
