Clear and cold today. Tess and I got up 5-30, had breakfast, then drove in to the New Haven Station and I took the train for Boston. I took the advertising matter of the Murphy Varnish Co. with me and worked on it all the way to Boston. Walked from the South Station up town to the Hotel Statler. Went to the headquarters of the Boston Rotary Club, met Ed Hunter of the 37th District and went to the luncheon of the Boston Club. Don Adams was there as was Bill Burns of Tarrington and Roy Powers of Palmer. After the luncheon, we met Tom Kenny and Dave McIntosh of the other Rotary Districts and we planned the going of the New England Rotarians to the Chicago Convention. Caught the six o'clock train via Hartford for home. Sarah met me at the station and brought me home. Very cold here tonight
