Thermometer this morning down to five above zero. Very cold and raw. Busy all day at the store. Met at Spring Glen Club tonight to consider the going ahead on the new Club House. I only stayed a short while as I had to meet at Prof Archer's house on matters concerning the Church of Christ in Spring Glen. An enlarged committee was there and reports from finance committee and others proved that the work was assured and warranted its continuance. We authorized Mr. Jones to talk informally with the Webb Estates for a site for the church
