Felt pretty rotten this morning but managed to get up. Tessie insisted that I go to the doctor's so I went over to Dr. Baldwin's. He gave me some medicine and told me to go home as soon as possible and not to talk any more than I could help. I am so hoarse I can hardly speak. Harley has a hard cold too so he did not come in at all today. I attended a special meeting of the Quinnipiack Club this afternoon to hear the report of a special committee on the matter of a new club house. It was voted to abandon the Chapel Street site and build a new club on Church St. John Duncan called for me at 6-30 and we drove up to Newtown and met a group of men who are interested in forming a Rotary Club. I talked to them as best I could and they voted to organize. I feel pretty sick
