Cloudy and looked like snow this morning and sure enough snow began falling about noon and a raging young blizzard tonight. Worked at the store till six o'clock. T.P.H. called for me with the Packard. She had picked up Sally and Andrina McIntyre at the Yale Drama School. We had Andrina out to supper. Afterwards, we drove back in town, dropped Andrina, and we three went to the Shubert to see William Gillette play, "Sherlock Holmes". The theatre was packed for the third night in succession and the audience gave this old time favorite a great reception. Sarah presented her "40" play at the Yale Theatre that she had produced. She was much complimented on its success. It is snowing and blowing great guns tonight
