Thursday, February 20, 1930 Tremendous change in the weather. From five below zero on Monday morning to sixty nine today is some rise. Busy at the store all day. Came home at five o'clock and dressed for the Rotary Club ladies night at the New Haven Country Club. Took Tessie and Sally with me. It was a lovely party. Wallace Hutton, Phil English, Clarence Bronson were the committee. We had a fine dinner and a splendid musical program. George Bossett and I were the speakers. Dancing and card playing took up the rest of the evening.
