Sunday, February 23, 1930 Foggy and damp today. Not too cold. Got up early. Ed Cole, Burt Gruver, and Alice Crawford stayed all night with us. I drove in to Calvary to church school and took Ed Cole in with me to the Yale Drama School as he had to work. I taught Charles Lincoln's class and the Catherine Mabie class joined with us. I brought the Thissell family out to Spring Glen after church. Nat Noble and Bill Brewster called to see us. They were on their way out of town after being at Yale for Alumni Day. We had Ed and Burt and Alice to dinner. Later they went in town to a tea and Tess and I went over to the Spring Glen Club to supper. This is Father Peck's 89th birthday. We had the enlarged photo of Mother Peck framed for him.
