Raining and much colder. Packed my suitcase and went to the office early. Worked all the morning then caught the 1-30 Shore Line train for Boston. Don Adams, Ray Knoeppel, and Ed Rushmore of the N.Y. Rotary Club all on the same train. We had a great visit together. Arrived in Boston, got off train at Back Bay. Charlie Simons met us and we all taxied over to the Hotel Statler, registered, got our rooms and dressed for the big night. A big dinner for all New England Rotarians celebrating the 25th anniversary of the founding of Rotary. Charlie Newton of the Chicago Club, one of the first members to join Rotary, spoke and Ray Knoeppel of New York made the big address. Don Adams, Ed Hunter, Dave MacIntosh, and I spoke and Tom Kenney was toastmaster
