Monday, January 6, 1930 Mother Peck is bad shape. The doctor would much prefer to have her taken to the hospital but Father Peck being of the old school has a horror of hospitals and would much prefer to have her stay here. Tessie and I are going to let him make the decision. I had a dinner meeting at the Graduate Club with the Executive Committee of the New Haven County Council Boys Scouts. Went back to the office and worked late. Mrs. Wood left for Florida this morning to be gone a month.
