Saturday, January 11, 1930
Woke up at the Hotel Statler, Boston. Had breakfast here then taxied over to the Parker House and met the other three District Governors of the New England Districts - Tom Kenney, Dave McIntosh, and Ed Hunter. We are here to arrange for our Districts going to Chicago to the International Convention in June. We talked till four o'clock, stopping only for lunch. It was a most happy meeting of we men who are responsible for Rotary in New England this year. I caught the 5 o'clock train at Back Bay Station. It was the "Merchants Limited", a special equipment train. I had dinner on the train and arrived at New Haven 8-17. Came out home on the Waterburg Trolly
