Monday, January 13, 1930 Busy at the store all day. Took the four o'clock train for Hartford for a dinner meeting with the Hartford Rotary Club assembly. Had dinner with them at the Hotel Bond. President Frank Beveridge presided. This is the meeting I should have held with them the day I made my official visit but on account of confusion of dates it was not possible.
