Monday, January 20, 1930 Tessie and I took Father Peck down to Hayes and Pierce undertaking establishment this morning and helped him to select a casket for Mother. It was a hard pull for him, but he was plucky about it. We also selected flowers for him too. This afternoon after she was laid in the casket, Tessie took him down and he visited with her. He thinks she looks so beautiful. We have helped him all we could. I worked tonight at the office till late on Wall Paper records and hung the pictures in Harley's office.
