Tuesday, January 21, 1930 Snowed nearly all day long. I had the undertaker put a canopy over the lot in the cemetery for the funeral this afternoon. We buried Mother Peck today. The men at the store were the bearers. We closed the store for an hour during the service. Uncle Gene, Cousin Annie, and some other relatives of Mother's came from the Eastern part of the state. Tessie had luncheon for them all. Mrs. Knapp came over and helped Georgie get it. Mr. Weir of St. Paul's Church had the service. He was so fine. Father Peck went through with it like a brick, but he did feel so badly. Annual meeting of the New Haven County Council of Boys Scouts dinner at the City Mission Hall.
