Friday, January 31, 1930 Sun is shining today, the first time in many days. It has been cloudy and foggy. Had lunch down town today. Had to go to the Mechanics Bank. Mr. Matlack of the George D. Wetherill Co. here this morning to talk over with Harley and me. His idea of opening a retail store in Cambridge, Mass. and adding a stock of Wall Paper. Down to Calvary Church tonight to Mens Club supper. Speaker Joe Palmer of New York as a speaker. He was a great tourist. He rambled all over the world and left us no where.
