Wednesday, July 2, 1930 On board South American in Lake Erie bound for Buffalo, New York. Landed there about 8-30 A.M. taken by taxi to the new Buffalo station and boarded train for Boston and home. The New England Rotarians had two special cars. We had lunch on the train and spent the afternoon visiting with our Rotary friends. We got off the train at Pittsfield and were met by Sally and Peter with the Packard. The Rotarians serenaded us with confetti as we got off as a gesture of good will. Peter took us to "Burkes" for dinner then we hurried him to the Berkshire Play House and we continued on down to their little house and dressed up a bit and then went back to the Play House and saw the performance, "The Admirable Crichton". It was fine. We stayed all night with Peter and Sarah, the first time they have entertained us in their own home [Prev](1930_07_01.md) - [Next](1930_07_03.md) <img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/d/1eCIGi4MA1ATZKiOEtQjbHnnv3dX9A9ti">
