Cloudy this morning but cleared up beautifully later. Mr. and Mrs. Richard A. Dodge of Starrs, Conn. with his new secretary came down to the office to go over Rotary matters with Polly and me. Dick Dodge is the new District Governor of the 30th District. Tessie joined us at about 5-30 and we drove down to Stratford to the Housatonic Lodge to the Installation Dinner of the Derby Shelton Rotary Club. We arrived there a bit early so drove on down to Bridgeport and called on Auntie "B" and Lewis. They showed us around the greenhouses. We then went back to the dinner and had a fine time. The chairman called on both Dick and I to speak. We came home via Shelton and Derby and kept the Dodges and Mrs. Kline all night
