Very cool this morning, thermometer down to 50°. Lovely weather though to work. Busy at store all day, several away on vacations. Tessie and I went to Bachrach's Photographers and ordered Sarah's wedding photos. Attended Rotary luncheon at Hotel Taft at 12:15. Bill Slate spoke on Japanese Beetles and other pests. Tessie and I drove down to short beach tonight and had dinner at the Clairmont with Charles and Luetta Lincoln and his Sunday school class in honor of Marion Williams Long, who is moving to Melrose, Mass. next Saturday. We then took a walk down on the beach front and revived memories of our early married years when we Summered down there. Called at Violette's on our way home. Clayton and Lota was there also
