Warmed up very rapidly today. Tessie took Mr. Marks and drove down to Norwalk to have him see Alice and Fred Lockwood new house to talk about interior decorations. I had lunch at the Quinnipiack Club and then went down to the R.R. station to buy tickets and get certificates to go to New York on Monday to the Wall Paper Convention. Tessie called for me on her way back from Norwalk and I came home with her. I changed my clothes, packed my bag, and drove to Hartford to meet District Governor Dick Dodge and our Fall Conclave Committee at the Hotel Bond. We planned all the evening. I stayed all night at the Bond
