Sunday, July 20, 1930 Still scorching hot but not quite so bad as yesterday as the air is clearer, a lot less humidity. We all had breakfast together, the four Keisers and the two Hodges. Afterwards, I took Paul and the children up to see the new Spring Glen Club now building and let the kids paddle in the brook. We had dinner at home and really we were as cool at home as any where else. We sat out doors under the big hickory tree all afternoon until the Kiesers had to leave at about seven o'clock.
