Tuesday, July 22, 1930 Very hot in the Commodore Hotel but much cooler out of doors. The intense heat of yesterday has gotten into the building so that it is hard to get it cooled off. Had breakfast alone this morning then looked over Becker Smith + Page line. Had lunch with Gibson. Called on Paul Gilbert and saw his line, which is very good. Met Mr. Hall of the Wall Paper Association and we went into the rooms of Schmitz Harring and looked over some decorations for Alice Drew Lockwood's house. Called at Lloyd's rooms. Met John Whitwell then went with him up to his room and looked at some special papers he has. Called on George Hanbury and then had dinner alone and went over to Roys to the show. Walked back to the hotel and went to bed much cooler in my room tonight although still very hot [Prev](1930_07_21.md) - [Next](1930_07_23.md) <img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/d/1FZeigcoUDndeStqcExkXa70Zy1MEBquU">
