Sunday, July 27, 1930 Thermometer again 92°, mighty hot. Tessie and I stayed home all day long, too hot to do anything. Mr. and Mrs. Gere away so we are looking after "Ritz", their dog and "Sammy", their cat. Ritz had a bad turn so I telephoned for Harry Webb to come up and look at him. He said he was all in from running so much. The Geres came along home just about this time so we all had a picnic supper out under the big hickory tree. Sat out there till the Webbs had to take the children home to bed [Prev](1930_07_26.md) - [Next](1930_07_28.md) <img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/d/1min8df9iCU5PeqrjJx4HvxlGsrxH83sB">
