Monday, July 28, 1930 Very much cooler today and a welcome relief from the excessive heat of the past two weeks. Busy at the store all day long. Tessie called for me at night and we stopped at #1 Woods St., Whitneyville and brought Mrs. Knapp out to dinner and for the night. She is packing up Aletha's (Stone) furniture for storage for the balance of the Summer. A large force of young men are engaged moving the books from the old Yale library on the campus to the new Sterling Library on York, Wall, and High Streets.
