Tuesday, July 29, 1930 Cloudy and muggy all day long, much humidity. Rotary luncheon at Hotel Taft at noon. Had supper down town then walked up to the new armory on Goffe Street to a meeting of the 114th Anniversary Committee of the New Haven Grays. After the meeting, Captain Harold N. Dorr took us on a tour of inspection of the Armory. My, certainly some difference from the old armory on Meadow Street.
