Monday, June 9, 1930 Rain and mist and rain. Many more lovely gifts came to Sally and Peter today. Aletha Knapp Stone gave Sally a party. We were all to go over to East River for a beach party this evening but the rain descended and the floods came so we had it at home. All of Sarah's wedding party were with her and many other young people including Harley and his family and Violette.
