Tuesday, June 10, 1930
Still heavy clouds and much rain. I took Mr. Barker (Harry W.) in to the New Haven Rotary Club to lunch. Sarah took Mrs. Barker and the girls of her wedding party and some others out to the Little Tavern to luncheon. In the afternoon, Linda McMaster Nettleton across the street gave a handkerchief party for Sarah and the party. At six o'clock, we all went down to St. Paul's Church for the rehearsal. We had a lot of fun and arranged our program for tomorrow. Then we all drove down to Harley and Alice home where they had arranged a lovely party for us all. We had a fine supper and a lot of fun. My how it did pour. We arrived home safely however. Dot and Ruth Ladd are here from Buffalo, Eleanor Effler from Wellsley, and Alice Crawford from New York. Bryson Thompson and the "Sisters Hall" were with us much to our happiness
