Saturday, June 14, 1930 I worked till 12-30 then took old "Leaping Lena" and drove down to Lighthouse Point to the Calvary Baptist Church picnic. Mighty glad I did not have to arrange for it. Visited with the people awhile then came home and dressed and with T.P.H. drove over to the Yerxa's to the wedding of their daughter to Phelps Lewis. Met many friends there.
