Monday, June 16, 1930 In to the office early. Went with Mr. Chamberlain to Meriden and called at H.M. Chittenden's then on to New Britain. Had lunch there. Called on several customers and went onto Middletown, Meriden, and Wallingford, back to the store then home. Mrs. Knapp, Larry, and Aletha Stone called for us and we all went up on the King's Highway and ate our supper on the hillside. We then drove clear around the Sleeping Giant and home. It has been hot all day but we got cooled off tonight.
