Thursday, June 26, 1930 Beautiful day after the rain of last night. Arose early and had breakfast alone and hurried out to the convention hall to vote and to be there to help other 30th District men if they should ask questions. Tessie had Dorothy Rawson Stubbs come in and have lunch with us. We were glad to see her. Attended an assembly this afternoon on International Relations at Masonic Temple. Tessie and I had Floyd and Ruby Newton and George Lovell to dinner at the Stevens Hotel tonight. Later, the Don Adams family came in and joined us. We had a fine time. We then took taxis to the Navy pier where the Chicago Rotary Club gave a wonderful fireworks display and decorated float parade [Prev](1930_06_25.md) - [Next](1930_06_27.md) <img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/d/1eTgBjWLZYZNyksqXyA-ObXQ3OvsiINUN">
