Thursday, March 6, 1930 Beautiful day, clear and mild. Had lunch this noon at the Quinnipiack Club. Charles P. Walker called on me this afternoon in the interest of selling bonds to the new Quinnipiack Club Building, contemplated. T.P.H., Sally, and Peter called for me at six tonight and we all had dinner at the Church-Wall Tea room and then went to the Fox-Poli Palace Theatre to the movies.
