Tuesday, March 18, 1930 Went to office early. Rotary luncheon at New Haven Club, Hotel Taft. Russell Ragan, Secretary of the Springfield Club, went with me. Southern New England Telephone Co. furnished the speaker and demonstrated the new dial system service that will go into effect about the middle of April. "Hamden" and "Liberty" sections will go over first. Came home tonight to dinner and for the evening. We had a letter from Alice Drew today. They are still in Augusta, Georgia.
