Saturday, March 22, 1930 It was so cold this morning and the wind blew so hard, that Tess prevailed on me to stay in the house, which I did. Violette and Lota called this afternoon and brought to Sarah mother's own wedding shawl to wear at her wedding. It is so lovely. Nancy Ferguson and Mrs. Lovett of the Drama School also called and had tea with us and Sally showed them her hope chest things. We all had dinner together and I went to bed early. My cold is some better tonight.
