Saturday, March 29, 1930 Much more mild today. Went down town for lunch and some errands. Worked till 6-30. Sarah called for me. She had been down to see Lois, this being Lois' thirtieth birthday. She is expecting her baby soon. Yale announced this morning that old Sheffield Hall at the College and Grove Streets, facing up College Street, would be torn down and a beautiful new gothic building erected in its place.
