Friday, May 2, 1930 In Holyoke at the Spring Conference of the 30th District Rotary International. Several breakfast sessions at eight o'clock, followed by the business session of the conference at 9-30. Hart I. Seely of Waverly, New York was the speaker. Richard E. Dodge of Willimantic club was nominated for District Governor. His term to begin July 1st, 1930. We had a big luncheon at noon and the Springfield club came in a body making a big group. The registration showed 525 registered and 81 others attending one meal, making a total attendance of 606 men. We spent the time wishing the friends goodbye, packing up, and then went down to the music store where our radio came from and selected records for it. We left Holyoke at six o'clock and arrived home at eight.
