Monday, May 19, 1930 Rained most all day. Went down to the Quinnipiack Club for lunch. Dressmaker at the house working on Sally's dresses. T.P.H. and Sarah called for me at the store and we came home for dinner. After dinner, I went over and called on Mr. Camp, our minister. He has just returned from the hospital where he was operated for appendicitis. Sarah's wedding invitations came today and we all worked on them tonight. Mother and I folded and Sally did the addressing. They look very nice. The Y.M.C.A. drive for funds for their new building on Howe Street went over the top tonight. They asked for $968,115.00 and the final report was for $975,740.00 or $7,625.00 more than needed. It was a great job well done [Prev](1930_05_18.md) - [Next](1930_05_20.md) <img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/d/1bXnZqyHndECZdq6PwNQBGiGhtJarPLmS">
