Rained hard all day. We did not get up very early. After breakfast, T.P.H., Sally, and I drove up to Stockbridge, Mass. to look at places where Peter and Sally might live this Summer. We stopped in Tarrington at the Conley's Inn for dinner and had a roast duck dinner that was just fine. We then went on to Stockbridge and looked over the houses owned by a Mrs. Tracey. We came home via Norfolk, Winsted, Avon, Farmington, and home. Very cold and wet. We lighted fires in both fire places and had supper at home and spent the evening listening to our new Rotary radio
