Sunday, May 25, 1930 Rained hard all day. We did not get up very early. After breakfast, T.P.H., Sally, and I drove up to Stockbridge, Mass. to look at places where Peter and Sally might live this Summer. We stopped in Tarrington at the Conley's Inn for dinner and had a roast duck dinner that was just fine. We then went on to Stockbridge and looked over the houses owned by a Mrs. Tracey. We came home via Norfolk, Winsted, Avon, Farmington, and home. Very cold and wet.
