So cold today that we again lighted our furnace fire and it felt mighty good. Attended luncheon of the New Haven Chamber of Commerce at the Hotel Taft this noon. Went down to the old armory on Meadow Street. Meeting there to go out to North Haven to the annual reunion of the State Guard Grays of the New Haven Grays. We held it as last year at the American Legion Hall. The Ladies Auxiliary of the Post served us a turkey dinner. Captain Dorr, Lieuts Moyle and Leete of the Active Company spoke about the Company and the new armory now being completed on Goffe Street. Sarah is having quite a few wedding gifts come already. She is so excited. Violette gave a family tea for her this afternoon. Auntie "B" came up from Bridgeport to attend
