Tuesday, May 27, 1930 Thermometer down to 40° this morning. We have the furnace fire still going. I attended the assembly at the Commercial High School this morning and spoke to the juniors and seniors on business. It was a great inspiration to me. Rotary luncheon at Hotel Taft this noon. Blake Russell talked to us about rowing in general and Yale crews in particular. He rowed on the Yale crews for four years. Tessie and I went in to the Yale Theatre to see the last performance of the year. "Saints Parade".
