Friday, May 30, 1930 Cold and showery till early afternoon when the sun came out for the rest of the day. It has been very cool though. We are keeping our furnace fire going. I worked out in the garden spading up the dahlia bed until dinner time. I then took a bath and gathered some Iris and took it up to the cemetery and put them on Mother and Father Peck's grave and Doris also. Met Don and Flossie Stirling up there. Also Phoebe Thomas Welles. I had not seen her for years.
