Sunday, November 2, 1930
Another beautiful day, clear and mild. We all had breakfast together, the Hunters, the McIntoshs, and the Hodges. Then after a long visit around the breakfast fable, the McIntoshs got started for their home at Dover, New Hampshire. They wanted to stop at Smith College and see their daughter. The Hunters wailed till noon for their son to call for them. He and a chum had gone on to New York after the game. When they arrived, they all left on their way to Hanover, New Hampshire. We have enjoyed them so much. I donned my old clothes and dug up the dahlias and brought them into the house for the Winter. We had the most we ever had. Gee, how I hate that job. We called up Chicago tonight and talked with Sally. It was so fine to hear her voice
