Thursday, November 6, 1930 Very windy and cold. Had lunch at Quinnipiack Club. Then Harley and I started for Springfield and the Springfield store. We had a conference with the Bryan Hdw Co. group. Si Pomeroy, Fred Shepherd, and Love. We had dinner at the Hotel Kimball then went back over to the Springfield store and talked over business affairs till after eleven o'clock. Harley and I spent the night at the Kimball. Tessie invited Mrs. Knapp to have dinner with her and spend the night at our house. They went in town to the Shubert to the show. Much surprise is being evidenced by the election of Dean Cross of Yale to be Governor of the State of Connecticut [Prev](1930_11_05.md) - [Next](1930_11_07.md) <img src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/d/1_DT3HCvlNSS7rblgp2W_i1fBBUWghNy2">
