Friday, November 7, 1930 At the Hotel Kimball in Springfield. Had breakfast here and then went over to the Springfield store. Did some work there then Mr. Page drove me to Northampton in his car. We called on J. Hugh Pierce, Arthur La Montagne, and La Fluer Brothers. Arranged some news paper advertising for Mr. Pierce. We drove back to Springfield and had lunch there. Harley and I called on J. Douglass Law. They are selling out. We also called on Mr. Frank Dunlap and induced him to reduce our rent one hundred dollars per month until the first of May.
