A beautiful Fall day. Received a letter this morning from Sarah, mailed from Chicago. She sent me four Princeton game tickets that Peter and she had the right to apply for. I sent two of them on to Paul Gilbert of York, Penn. Tessie and I went out to the Yale Bowl to see Yale play Alfred. The game ended Yale 66, Alfred 0. It was a shame to schedule such a game. Plucky little Alfred put up a good fight in the end but Yale put in at least three teams, all second and third string men. We went over to the Spring Glen Club to supper but did not stop to dance.
Yale 66 - Alfred 0
Michigan 6 - Harvard 3
Lehigh 13 - Princeton 9
Army 13 - Illinois 0
Notre Dame 60 - Penn 20
Georgia 7 - N.Y.W. 6
Dartmouth 43 - Alleghany 1
