Sunday, November 9, 1930 Another fine day. Tessie took me in to Calvary Church to Sunday School then came back home and later went in to St. Paul's to church. I had the prayer in our church school Armistice Day Program. The Rev. Dr. Laird of Rochester, N.Y. preached for us today. he was a former pastor of the First M.E. Church of New Haven. He gave us a fine sermon. We had dinner at home today then I took out the screens and took of the screen doors and put them all away downcellar.
