Friday, November 14, 1930 We got up at six A.M., had breakfast, and drove down to Harley's house in West Haven. Put our car in his garage and started with them for New Jersey for the Yale-Princeton game tomorrow. We went down to White Plains and crossed the Hudson River on the Yonkers Ferry. We then went through Englewood, Hackensack, Teaneck, Newark, Springfield to Plainfield. They left us at Plainfield with the Davis' and they drove on down to Moorestown to spend the week end with the Matlacks. We had dinner with the Davis' and so enjoyed Colly and Bea with little Terry (2 1/2 years old). We later called on Mrs. Watts and on Mr. and Mrs. Brown (Ruth Beckley). Found them out. It is raining hard. Hope it clears up for the game tomorrow. Found a letter here for us from Sally.
