Wednesday, November 19, 1930 Cleared off today and the sun shone some cooler. Lunch today at the Quinnipiack Club. Supper tonight at Calvary Church. One of their famous bean suppers. Tessie went with me. Afterwards, we drove out to the Winthrop Apartments and called on Ed and Alice Cole then went on down to Alice and Harley's to meet Bert and Jess, who had just landed from England on their way across to China.
